Critical to our commitment for quality products is our ability to customize materials to
suit your unique applications. Our Materials Processing Department blends a variety of
base resins with additives and reinforcements to produce custom compounds with enhanced

Manufacturing Capabilities
Our facility encompasses 40,000 square feet of environmentally controlled space.
Monitoring temperature and humidity is essential in maintaining quality during molding and
manufacturing processes.
Compression Molding
With multiple press capacity, from 7 to 1000 tons, we have the capability to mold smaller
diameter products efficiently and to maintain optimum physical properties in large,
heavy-walled moldings.
Special Moldings
With 30 years experience in molding fluoropolymers and high performance plastics, we have
developed proprietary techniques to produce
valve liners, encapsulated disks, impellers, inserts, diaphragms and many other products.
CAD/CAM
Computer aided design and manufacturing increases efficiency of product development while
enhancing quality and reducing costs.
Computerized Manufacturing
CNC Machine Centers with capacity to 23 inch diameter. This enables complex machining with
consistent quality. Our primary and secondary equipment is used expressly for machining
fluoropolymers and high performance plastics. With extensive knowledge in fabricating
polymers, our technical personnel understand the unique processing required and employ
those skills necessary to meet exacting requirements.
Automatic Screw Machining
Our Automatic Department is designed for small diameter, high volume production to rigid
specifications. These machines are light weight and highly accurate where speed and
repeatability are critical.
 Turning and
Milling
Conventional lathes are utilized for low volume runs and prototyping, a key to
our being your total source for engineered plastic products. These machines are equipped
with digital monitors for accuracy and consistent production.
Materials Testing
To assure product quality, materials are tested for specific gravity, tensile strength,
hardness and elongation. Finished components can be checked for geometric accuracy with
optical comparators, coordinate measuring machines and other precision measuring
instruments.
Quality Control
Total Quality Management is a philosophy we put into action daily at TFE Company,
Inc. We define quality as an on-going process to eliminate errors, not just
catching them before shipment. Our focus is on traceability, documentation, constant
internal review including first article inspection, line inspection and properties testing
of raw materials. To maintain a quality program congruent with our customers'
requirements, TFE Company, Inc. runs a quality system parallel to ISO
